Doomben Race 7 - Cricks Highway (Bm80)

Genuine four-year-old FIRST MISSION (12) has been close to the mark at both runs this prep. Led and gave a kick but was overwhelmed close to home last start over 1200m at this track. Suited coming back a little in trip and generally peaks at the third run back. FRAGILE LOVE (15) wound up late to grab fourth when fresh from a spell over 1100m at the Gold Coast last time out. The second-up form isn't flash but her stats at this distance read very well. RICHON (1) was off the scene for 15 months before his last run which was an excellent second in open company at Ipswich. Smart when right so a race of this calibre is not out of reach. ESTRONDO (8) returned to form here over 1200m a fortnight ago. Not the most reliable galloper but if he shows up a top three finish is achievable. FLYING DESTINY (2) defeated a few of these at the Gold Coast last start. The 63kgs without a claim is the nagging concern.
