Tricky race to kick off the card with a few of these babies facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade BETTERLUCKNEXTTIME (1) went bang bang to start the career back in October before being tipped out for time to furnish. Both victories have come around this circuit and gets plenty of weight relief with the claim. Can bring up the hat-trick here. IMPERVIOUS (7) was an impressive Ipswich winner on debut, draws the inside alley and gets the reliable Gollan/Jones combination. Ticks a few boxes. SUNRAYS (8) got the job done over this track and trip when at the races for the first time and Graham sticks in the irons. Top-three credentials. The well-related ATOMIC TIME (2) (half to G2 winner The Pendragon) has shown ability at the trials and any market confidence must be noted. PROFOUNDLY (10) next in line from the Freedman yard.
