SMART IZZY (4) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 11 lengths, over 1609m at Fairgrounds (Dirt) after she was in contention on the corner. Has further improvement to come and can find winning form this time. MISS ST CLAIRE (1) is a genuine type with two minor placings from three starts this prep. Produced another good performance last time out when second over 1006m at this track (Dirt) after she was always up in the leading division. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. MY IDEA (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 35 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1609m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Must raise the bar but she has the talent to test this line-up. PLUM WINE (7) was prominent at the turn and finished third last time over 1609m at this track (Dirt) when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.3 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
