Delaware Park Race 8 - Race 8 - Allowance

BRAT PACK (1) showed little early speed when resuming last start then picked up impressively in the straight to finish third in Listed grade at Laurel Turf (Turf) over today's journey. Expected to be very competitive again with the introduction of Lasix. BIRDIE ROSE (9) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out after being in the firing line on the turn to score by one length as public elect over 1710m at this track (Turf). Must raise the bar but this looks well within her grasp. GRIDLOCK (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Monmouth Park (Dirt) over 1207m after being in contention all the way. Should camp just off the leaders. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. INTREPIDS FANTASY (10) went forward and proved too strong on debut last start, scoring with 2.5 lengths to spare over 1673m at Delaware Park (Dirt). Has the speed to overcome the draw. Not to be discounted.
