MYSTICAL MERLIN (5) was narrowly beaten last start when second in a small field over 1207m at Monmouth Park (Dirt). Jorge A Vargas Jr stays aboard and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Should be hard to stop. NEVER TILL NOW (4) lines up for the first time since May 13. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1408m at Colonial Downs. Sure to make his presence felt. HOLIDAY EXPRESS (8) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1207m at Monmouth Park, beaten 5 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so he can turn things around. TITLE TRACK (2) is a well-related four-year-old gelding lining up for the first time. By Medaglia D'oro from the former top race mare Music Note who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at G1 level. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Has the aid of a nice alley and should be about the money.
