Finds an easier assignment and can find the winner's circle. MALA (3) finished 12 lengths adrift in tenth when resuming from a break and having his first look at a turf track last start over today's course and distance. Is yet to miss the frame when second-up and is worth following up. BROTHER TONY (4) displayed plenty of early toe over 1609m at Los Alamitos (Dirt) last time and went on to score by half a length. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. TARIFF (7) has been kept fresh since finishing eighth over 1609m at Santa Anita (Turf) eight weeks ago. Was a determined winner two starts back. Can sneak into the finish.
