AWASH (1) was a mile winner here two back then freshened and back to 1300m when he bombed the start and was back and wide. Forget the run. Better placed out to the mile again. CROWN WATERS (2) is racing well over sharper trip but has a decent record over the mile here with a win and two minors from four tries. Will be handy in the run and rates one of the better chances. VIERI (5) was off best last time but has a good record this course and distance and can improve sharply. CAPITOL HILL (3) is fitter for three runs in and now stretches back out to the mile. Gets a chance. BRYCE (7) brought up a hat-trick of placings, the latest over 1200m at this track. Honest and is in the mix.
