KORUTO (4) earns top billing after returning with a win at Eidsvold, scoring from Lonergy when near the top of betting, and his previous Doomben BM78 eighth had more merit than the finishing position as he made ground from the rear and was beaten just under three lengths. The 1200m record is not dominant, but he has won at the trip and brings the strongest recent profile. MILTON ROAD (2) is the obvious danger, chasing four wins in a row after beating Ready And Mabel at Stanthorpe as favourite, with a powerful 1200m record and Isabel Jessop unbeaten on him from two rides. AIR WE GO (5) can rebound from a wide-run Stanthorpe failure, having won a Gympie BM70 by over 17 lengths the start prior. MISS DE MEDICI (10) has had excuses at Toowoomba and Warwick and gets weight relief, so she has a genuine place-to-winning edge if she begins cleanly and finishes off more strongly. RUSSIAN SUB (9) ran fourth last time at Eidsvold and drops in the weights, could sneak into the finish.
