TREAD THE BOARDS (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 1000m at Walcha. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. AIR MILES (1) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 900m at Yass after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. KING'S EXCEED (3) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1200m at Goulburn last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Yass the run before. Faces an easier assignment so he is likely to play a big role. PRAIRIE LEGEND (2) is a five-year-old gelding who is still a maiden after 23 starts but has been in the placings three times. Never a threat when resuming last start over 1000m at Braidwood, finishing 7 lengths from the winner in fourth. Has a high cruising speed. In the mix.
