Grahame Begg's NZ recruit THIS TIME GIRL (3) finished out of the money when fresh two starts back then was beaten 5.5 lengths when fourth in a 1600m contest at Sandown-Hillside, Faces an easier assignment here and should be nearing peak fitness, so looks the testing material. DIDN'T MISS MANY (2) finished fourth first-up from a spell last start over 1412m at Geelong after racing on the pace for much of the way. Hasn't finished further back than second in three second-up runs and strikes the right race to maintain that record here. YAHOO BAR (1) showed good early dash at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in fourth over 1400m at Pakenham. Better for that and draws favourably here. ELEANOR DUMONT (6) looks a progressive type who picked up where she left off last prep and can go on with it, although up in grade. ON BROADWAY (7) will take benefit from this run but rarely misses a trifecta spot and has been trialling well.
