RUM JUNGLE (9) progressed nicely last start when lining up for only the second time, making a late charge but just missing the bob over 1000m at Gundagai. On an eight-day back-up which is a positive sign. Ready to go one better in a shallow maiden. COMMANDING SHADOW (13) disappointed at Gundagai last time out after a promising return for the new stable over 1000m at Wagga the run prior. Worth another chance. FOUR ESSES (14) ran a couple of nice races before a modest performance over 1000m at Wagga most recently. Perfectly drawn and capable of a quick return to form. YULEBA SHOWGIRL (15) has not raced since she failed to threaten on debut here in May. Could be one to keep tabs on with blinkers applied for the first time. First starter KENNY'S SWANS (8) draws the fence and showed enough in a Wagga trial recently to suggest he can figure in this.
