VARDIF (1) was set some lofty tasks as a juvenile after getting off to a positive start. Was a disappointing sixth of eight runners in a similar event on reappearance. Much better expected now with fitness on his side. TORNADO ALLEY (4) has enjoyed some success in a light campaign. Made all to land a 1400m Longchamp handicap in April. Switched yards since defeated 0.75L in follow up attempt. Serious threat. RAISE THE POINT (3) managed to take a marked step forward to score a Mont-de-Marsan maiden three weeks ago by 3L (1400m). Meets some better opposition but can raise the bar. NO TURNING BACK (12) remains unexposed and can certainly play a role.
