BARKSDALE (5) failed to run a strong 1408m last start after a close second over 1207m at this track (Dirt) the run prior. Freshened up so should be in the finish. RAVIN'S RANSOM (4) was handy on straightening and went on to finish second last start over 1207m at Fairmount Park (Dirt), beaten 0.1 lengths when resuming as favourite. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough. COOL COWBOY (6) raced below his best last time when sixth over 1408m at Keeneland (Dirt), beaten 11 lengths. Finds a nice race and can atone. NO EASY DAYS (1) started at $5.50 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at Parx over 1308m. Good record at this journey with five wins and eight minor placings from 17 starts and is one of the better hopes.
