HONEY DUTCH (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1609m at Penn National Turf. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is a major player. MAUI STRONG (7) comes here off a break of eight months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1710m at Keeneland Turf. Has ability and should be right in the finish. DE' MEDICI (2) started at $4.47 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths at Churchill Downs (Dirt) over 1408m. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. MEMORY (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 15 lengths away in seventh over 1609m at Churchill Downs. Better than recent efforts suggest.
