He has trialled at Toowoomba Inner Track and brings the strongest overall ratings profile. PRINCE CARLOS (11) is the clear danger after working home within just over three lengths of Moonspell at Rockhampton despite jumping awkwardly and covering ground, and his record at around 1400m gives him a solid base. DONEGAL BAY (4) was not far away in a Class 1 at Moree and his Taroom third two runs back keeps him right in the mix, though the 1400m record says he is more reliable as a place chance. MERCHANT MOON (3) gets the inside draw, Jade Metcalfe back aboard and a 2kg claim, so a return to his Gympie placing would put him in the minor money conversation.
