BUCKLAND BELLE (3) was a beaten favourite last week. Seemingly is capable of better form on the turf than all-weather and will find this more realistic. Worth taking seriously. VIOLET GOLDSMITH (4) remains a maiden after five attempts. Was a good second here in May over course and distance and though stable are quiet at the moment is still feared. ALICE'S INFLUENCE (6) brings strong recent form and warrants thought. If in the same condition as shown at Pontefract earlier in the week will play a major role. LADY OF CLOVER (5) comes from an in form stable. Turf form is not up to the level required. Needs more.
