Chepstow Race 3 - Ashcroft Services Mares' 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)
JUST A GLANCE (1) is out of a fine race mare in Miss Tenacious. Obliged on hurdle debut at Hereford last month after having wind surgery. Scored nicely by 2.25L on that occasion and looks more than good enough to defy the penalty. THE PROCRASTINATOR (7) won debuting at Doncaster on the flat then scored making hurdle debut at Hereford in February. Disappointed last time out at Wetherby. Might go well bringing a weight advantage. Running in Dan Skelton colours EVENING TESS (8) warrants a market check. LADY DAPPLE ROSE (3) was well held at Exeter during January and will be of more interest attempting handicaps.

At only start last preparation raced on the pace then finished second of 17 runners at Aintree on May 16 over 3400m, 1.0 len behind Rebel Tribesman with 71kg at $17. Can improve on first up performance. Looks well up to defying the penalty.
