Charles Town Race 2 - Race 2 - Starter Optional Claiming

SHARPASADIAMOND (5) improved sharply on his seventh two starts back at this track (Dirt) with success over 1408m at this track (Dirt) a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done again. DEFIANT GIANT (6) last appeared two-and-a-half weeks ago over 1710m at this track when he finished fifth. This is his first run for the Shane Meyers stable. Worth serious consideration. FORTUNATE SON (3) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 5 lengths when sixth in a 905m contest at this track three weeks ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. YOUTHINKTHATSFUNNY (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 28 when beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth at this track (Dirt) over 1408m. Won't find this as tough so he can return to the winners' list.
