Charles Town Race 2 - Race 2 - Allowance Optional Claiming

NATE THE GREAT (3) last appeared eight weeks ago over 1710m at this track when he finished second. This is his first run for the Jeffrey D Allen stable. Winning chance for the new barn. NOLA BOSS (5) held on well to finish third last time out over 1710m at this track (Dirt) after leading for much of the way. Well-placed and should be tough to rein in again. HAPPY JAUNT (4) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1710m at this track (Dirt), getting home by a nose. Winning rider Jose Y Diaz retains the mount. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. BROTHER CONWAY (7) found plenty to score by 2.75 lengths three runs back at this track (Dirt) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Should be poised just off the lead. In the mix.
