Nicely placed to feature in the finish again. DEFIANT GIANT (6) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when ninth, beaten 18 lengths, over this journey at this track (Dirt). Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. VANCE SCHOLARS (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1710m at Delaware Park, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
