FROSTEDBIRD (5) turned things around last start and scored by 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend as public elect over 1006m at this track. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. MEHLEK (4) lines up for the first time since December 7. Looking to emulate his win at Woodbine All Weather to kick off the last campaign. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Carson Frey. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. DRINKING AGAIN (6) started at $6.20 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 9 lengths at Turf Paradise (Dirt) over 1308m. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. KYSTONE (1) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. Looking to emulate his win at this track when returning from a spell last prep. One to consider.
