Caulfield Race 8 - Blue Diamond Stakes (G1)
The Blue Diamond and MY GLADIOLA (11) can bounce back in the Group 1. She was awesome on debut in the Fillies Preview before leading as a $1.95 favourite in the Prelude and being overrun late. Fancy she'll have something to chase here and she should elevate again. PALM ANGEL (9) beat MY GLADIOLA fair and square last time to even the ledger at 1-1. She should get a soft trail from the inside and has the turn of foot to take the gaps that come. FIELD OF PLAY (1) resumed in the Colts and Celdings Prelude and proved too strong to remain unbeaten. A strong 1200m should be right up his alley and he draws ideally. TEMPTED (15) flashed home in the G3 Widden Stakes at Rosehill last time and should be charging at them late here. Very wary of CHERISH ME (14) who was put away following a very good win in the Geelong Diamond, backed up by some big late splits. It's hard to gauge how good she might be.
