Caulfield Race 5 - Premier Signs Doveton Stakes (L)
Not the first or the last time we will be saying that Ciaron Maher holds the keys to the race. Key number one is I AM UNSTOPPABLE (1). Failed to get involved in the Champion Sprint but we can forgive him that easily enough. Strong effort at the Valley prior to that would have the measure of most if not all of these and the blinkers go on to sharpen him right up. Key number two is GARZA BLANCA (8) who wouldn't be on many 'most reliable' lists but has the talent on his day and the fresh run was better than it reads at a glance. FANCIFY (3) can get running in front and her latest rating makes her a tough nut to crack. IT'SOURTIME (2) is always a hope in this sort of company and is worth including.
