SAINT EUSTACE (3) was helped last start by a horse who looked the winner selling out late in the piece, but he had been building to a win and was strong to the line. The fact he's got better with each run this prep gives confidence he'll go on with it here. KARBURAN (2) has been doing his racing this prep in hurdle races and while outclassed last start in the Aust Hurdle, he was good the start prior in a much more suitable contest. He'll appreciate this grade for his fencing debut. NIGHTFALL (4) is a Kiwi having his first Aussie start here and while it's hard to measure up the form from his last start win across the ditch, he'll have taken confidence from it. NOT USUAL DREAM (1) fell last start, which followed some runs in much tougher grade than this when well held. Hard to know how well he's going, but if he puts it all together he can feature. CHARLIE MESSY HAIR (5) will be relying on mistakes from others to sneak into the top four.
