WANDA'S SPARK (1) started at $2.50 on debut last time out over 1100m at the Kensington track and did a fine job to box on for second after showing pace from the outset. In good hands and over an extra 100m today should be right in the finish again. YVONNE'S JOY (13) came from last on the bend to be beaten just over two lengths over 1100m at Randwick last start. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and she looks a genuine contender back in midweek company. AFFARI (3) last appeared when midfield in the Listed Calaway Gal over this distance at Eagle Farm in late April. Trialled nicely at Rosehill recently and looks set for a positive return. CALOOCAN BEAUTY (4) showed pace but weakened late and missed the placings at her only start to date over 1000m at Randwick in January. Has won both recent trials. Ready to offer a bit more this time in work. SING YOUR SONG (2) is McDonald's mount. Trialling well and is ready to perform at just his second trip to the races.
