Waller dominates the numbers and his best chance looks to be RIEZ SOUVENT (5) who tried hard but couldn't quite overcome the smart Big Tiger over 1400m at Rosehill last start. Should enjoy the extra trip and gets the perfect run from an inside draw. Stablemate FLAXLANDS (7) is having the fifth run of her maiden prep - it is a positive sign that she is back at the races again. Attempted this trip for the first time here a fortnight ago and wasn't beaten far. Will settle back and wind up late. PATONGA (3) started favourite and looked to have every chance but found one better over 1400m at Hawkesbury recently. Leads or box seats from gate one. Expected to be in this for a long way. Best of the non-Waller runners is TUTTO (6) who was closing in fast first-up in the race contested by Riez Souvant at Rosehill. This looks an ideal follow-up assignment.
