Peter Snowden has UNION (3) here on debut and the Snitzel colt went close in a recent Randwick trial. Maps for a soft run and a bold effort is anticipated. The local LA STIAVA (7) was a big trial winner at the track before commencing her career in an Open 2 at Randwick where she didn't have much luck (SP$7.50). Has a rap on here and is much better placed. The filly is a live chance. Another local MUSIC TIME (1) also draws a touch awkwardly but he placed here on debut and is sure to build on that. Has been freshened and the in-form Bouldvillain stays aboard. TRAPEAZY (10) debuts for the Archibald yard with Collett engaged. She'll be better than the trial finishes suggest and the late betting will be key.
