Those front-running tactics are a plus around this track and with the blinkers off for the first time, she can take them all of the way. RED SPARKS (8) has changed stables since her last start at Avoca in April. She will be stronger this season and with the blinkers off for the first time she can make the most of her handy gate and figure in the finish. XUANFENG (6) had his first start as a gelding and finished a close-up third at Bordertown when resuming from a spell. He won a trial before that and should be spot-on now with his fitness. Hard to beat. TROUVE (5) is fresh up from a spell at an easier level. The visors are on and he is worthy of consideration, especially if the money comes for him.
