CLEVELAND POWER (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 1609m at Mountaineer Park (Dirt) after being in the firing line on the turn. Gabriel Lagunes gets the best out of this seven-year-old gelding. Steps up a level but he is good enough to figure in the finish. C V SHACKLES (5) missed the placings two runs back then was always well out of his ground last start when 28 lengths away in eighth over 1609m at Horseshoe Indianapolis. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a major role. NATIONAL STORY (1) is resuming from a spell of 12 weeks and having his first run for the Ramon Salcedo yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) over 1207m. Has found the right race and is worth including.
