DEMETRIUS (2) is back from a spell of 11 months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1811m at Churchill Downs Turf (Turf). Rates highly and should take some beating. WILD COTTON (3) finished second, beaten 5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1207m at this track (Dirt) after he was prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. SPINNING SPIRIT (1) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep at Turfway Park (Synthetic) over 1609m on March 19. Blinkers are on so expected to run well. ROADSWITCHER (4) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Cody W Axmaker barn. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Turf Paradise (Dirt) 16 months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Not to be underestimated.
