CHIEF BUCKEYE (2) settled towards the back of the field last start and made little impact in the straight when fifth, beaten 12 lengths, over this journey at Mahoning Valley (Dirt). Has a good record at this course and distance, including three wins. Faces an easier assignment so he is likely to play a big role.
