Belmont Park Race 1 - Race 1 - Claiming
UR DESIRE (4) was below her best last time, finishing eighth and beaten 9 lengths over 1609m at this track (Dirt). Has the talent to put the recent run behind her. ESSENCE L VEE (5) did her best work late to finish third at her latest appearance at this track (Dirt) over 1408m. Good signs last time and worth consideration. LUCKFORYOU (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then she was never in contention and was beaten 29 lengths when eighth over 1710m at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Has the ability to find the winners' list. BODEGAS (6) returns from a spell of eight months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when eighth over 1609m at Aqueduct (Dirt). Lining up today for the first time for trainer H J Bond. Among the better hopes.
