Belmont Park Race 3 - Race 3 - Mdn Claiming
SPARKS WILL FLY (3) stepped out on her debut over 1207m at Saratoga (Dirt) five weeks ago and finished sixth, beaten 9 lengths. Will have a lot more to offer this time. MAGIC IN MY EYES (4) finished 14 lengths from the winner in seventh on turf at Saratoga Inner Turf two starts back. Missed the frame in another run on turf last time at Saratoga Turf over 1811m when 5 lengths adrift in fourth. Blinkers applied so a bold showing is anticipated. SUITED CONNECTORS (6) started favourite at the last run before a break but could only manage third at Saratoga (Dirt). Jockey Ricardo Santana Jr back aboard. Has ability and is a leading player. SAN ANTONIO SARA (7) has not appeared since she finished fourth over 1207m at Gulfstream Park on May 24. One of the key contenders.
