Belmont Park Race 9 - Frizette S. Stakes
VELORA (7) is a talented galloper who is unbeaten from two runs, the latest success coming over 1207m at Listed level at Saratoga (Dirt). Far too good last time and is right in contention again. LIBBY LLOYD (4) was in control from the outset to score on debut over 1207m at Saratoga (Dirt) seven weeks ago. Sure to be further improved and can make it back-to-back wins. DOTSY (5) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 1308m at Saratoga (Dirt) five-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely improver with bright prospects again. RUM TWIST (6) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1408m at Saratoga (Dirt), scoring by 6 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Pascacio Lopez was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
