DAWN DANCER (1) did well to score at this track two runs ago, which made it three wins on end. Decent effort last time out when in the firing line on the corner before finishing second over 1000m at this track, beaten a tick under a length. In well after the 3kg claim. SUPERSMASH (6) obviously took great benefit from the first two runs back when a nice winner at Northam, then followed that up with an impressive win in town last time out. Really hit her straps of late and with just 52kg from a low draw she could give them something to catch. ANACONDA JONES (2) resumes here after a three-run campaign when he was tested in some handy races and hinted in a recent trial that he'll be ready to go fresh. GUNNING FOR GOLD (4) finished third last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of a big run. MISS AJAX (9) outran her odds on debut and with the benefit of that experience, she can again play a role.
