BLUE ROCKET (4) won a trial before finishing sixth of 7 fresh-up on this track when peaking on her run late and then improved sharply to run second here a fortnight ago, less than a length from the winner. The extra 100m could make all the difference and she is poised to go one better this time. TRUE APOSTLE (2) was only beaten by a nose when resuming from a spell and then got too far back from a wide draw last time out, finishing near the rear. He has a superior gate this time and is expected to bounce back into the money immediately. SNIPPY SEAN (3) was an impressive winner out of his class on this track 10 days ago when arriving with a well-timed run to score by a neck. He has already proven himself at this level with that win and can double the dose. MEAN MACHINE (1) has been third in his last couple of starts since winning for the first time here on a heavy track by a nose 3 starts back. He is capable of another big run, even from a wide gate.
