POISED TYCOON (11) missed by a whisker two back over 1100m at Murwillumbah then looked a shade disappointing at Ipswich last time when he raced handy but didn't quite finish off at the end of 1200m. A seven-day back-up is a positive sign so give him another chance. LAUNCHER (4) loomed up on the corner but ran out of condition when resuming from a spell recently over 1350m at Ipswich. Coming back in trip is a query but he strips fitter and is drawn to enjoy a nice run. LUCKY ARTIE (5) resumes. Has only placed once in 13 starts which was when fresh from a spell at the Gold Coast last prep. Each-way hope. RIGHTEOUS BROTHER (6) strips fitter after two runs back from a spell.
