SOUTHERN CRESCENT (9) had her winning streak come to an end last start at Caulfield Heath but still ran very well, just finding one better by a head. She'd beaten one with good form prior and sets up nicely from a low gate. Can bounce right back. JAKIVY (5) contested a stronger Vobis race when last seen at Caulfield, last there behind subsequent G1 winner Jigsaw. His form prior is rock solid for a race like this, expect he bounces back. MARKDEL (1) resumed with a narrow win at Cranbourne when finding the line well to get up. He's always promised a bit and can go on with it now. BALLYNACALLY (3) is a lightly raced 5yo mare who has won her past two. She started favourite and got the job done against THAILESS (10) last time, both have claims.
