BIG BRUTE (1) bounced back stylishly last start and got the job done as favourite over this trip at Murray Bridge. No tougher this time and gets aid under the big weight with the 2kg claimer engaged. Great chance to make it two on the bounce. MAKE ME A STAR (6) never really looked likely at any stage fresh but did warm late. Is sure to have come on from that and she tackles a much more suitable trip now. Watch for her bursting through at the business end. MISS KERMIE (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over this journey at Penola after being prominent at the turn. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is up to the task and is at top fitness. GRUELLING (4) has struggled to threaten of late when tackling tougher opposition in town but should find this easier. Drops back to a winning trip off 25 days in-between and boasts a handy record at this venue. Taking seriously.
