Placed to advantage and can run another bold race. PORT LOUIS (1) is busting to win, and there was only a head in it over 1406m at Terang last time. Worked over to lead them up in that and will likely push forward again. With average luck, he has winning claims. MANCHEGO (4) showed good early dash, missing by 2L over 1300m at Ararat. Has the inside gate and rates well enough to consider. KNOCK OF BEERS (8) has been racing at the provincials, finishing within range. Comes back to a sprint off the latest at Geelong and is a hope in country grade. NEVRA QUEEN (9) is a second-up winner drawn low. Her best form would see her competitive.
