Drawn to get his chance and can put it all together right away. JUST AN ILLUSION (6) has won both trials coming into this, including beating a number of these rivals most recently. Looks to have good ability and Steve Parnham sticks from the latest heat. Can make an immediate impact. AHAB THE ARAB (1) jumped a $20 chance on debut but outperformed those expectations, finishing just 0.8L off the winner. Should be better for that effort and with the benefit of race experience under his belt, he can play a leading role. MALIBU STAR (7) was around JUST AN ILLUSION at the trials recently and can be in the finish. GOLDEN PACIFIC (2) was edged out by JUST AN ILLUSION in his latest heat and has claims.
