TRULY LOYAL (14) got the job done from the back last start as he continued to work through the grades, scoring as a $3.30 chance. Likely to drift back again, but he hasn't hit his ceiling yet and he continues to raise the bar. He's an exciting gelding who can repeat the dose. MASMELO (10) was super through the 3YO Classic features, finishing nicely to place in the WATC Derby. She sprinted quickly in her latest trial to score and while 1400m is short of her best trip, there's enough there to suggest she can feature on resumption. FAMOUS DAIN (5) is building nicely this time in, missing by a neck last start behind TRULY LOYAL. Meets that runner better at the weights this time and now third-up, he can turn the tables. WESTBOUND (4) may find this short of his best but he hit the line nicely in his only trial coming in. Can kick off on a positive note. FANCY RED (3) can be closing strongly at the finish.
