LIKE CLOCKWORK (9) was very impressive on resumption, running away to win by 2.5L as the $1.60 favourite. Back to 1000m now is the query, but she's an exciting mare on the way up and she should be handy from the barrier. Parnham rides now and she can go on with the job. BASSETT HOUND (8) showed what he was capable of last campaign and showed he's not to be discounted this campaign with a nice trial win recently. He comes here with no weight on his back and while he is likely to get back in the run, he can storm over the top to pick up from where he left off. BLACK ORA (2) was just fair in a recent trial, but her form last campaign, particularly at this track and trip, makes her an attractive proposition. Can make her presence felt. SNITZALATTE (6) boasts a strong fresh record, as well as winning 3/4 at this track and trip. Can make an impression. PINGERS (7) has to be included on a strong last-start win.
