Tough. WEST SIDE STORY (10) has been giving away big starts but got to within 2.5L at Kilmore last time. She will be better for that, and the step up to a mile is sure to suit. In good metro hands and can finish it off hard. BLACKFISH (7) is in the premier stable and will improve off the distant placing at Edenhope. The extra metres shouldn't bother and she keeps the handy 2kg claim. WIMMERA STAR (6) didn't get into it from a wide gate at Wangaratta but went well when placing at Hamilton prior, over this distance. Peaks now, and with average luck he can get into the finish. ALL TOO TRUE (1) is a border hopper bringing a 1.7L defeat from Swan Hill. Draws wide, but Linda rides and should give him every chance.
