PLAYING TRICKS (2) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 6 lengths away in sixth over 1609m at this track (Dirt) on April 25 which was the only run of that prep. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a spell in three starts. Leading contender on best figures. OTELLO (7) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1811m at this track (Dirt) after being in the firing line all the way. Wide draw and will need a good steer from Dylan Davis. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. MAKES SENSE (3) has failed to figure of late. Two runs back missed the placings over 1811m at this track. Last time he failed to complete the course at Churchill Downs. Certainly deserves another chance. ELIMINATE (8) finished third last start over 1609m at this track (Dirt) when he made late ground, beaten 4.5 lengths. K Carmouche gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task.
