Junior Alvarado has registered two minor placings when on board. Among the leading chances. SIDEARM (1) is returning from a spell of nine weeks. Finished sixth at Gulfstream Park All Weather (Synthetic) over 1006m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Edward R Barker. One of the genuine hopes in the race. COPIOUS (8) transitions to a turf track for the first time today. Returned from a spell last start with a minor placing over 1609m at Aqueduct, beaten 6 lengths. Fitter and the blinkers come off. One of the main hopes. GRUNGE (7) had support when resuming last time out but never threatened when a disappointing fourth, beaten 10 lengths, over 1308m at Aqueduct (Dirt). Solid contender in this line up.
