AF ZEEM (9) was never in the hunt when resuming over 1800m here, but he's entitled to tighten up sharply second-up, and this is a softer assignment. This is the right race for him to show further improvement, and he gets a genuine chance to break through. SAMAA AL GHARBIA (2) absolutely dominated her 1200m maiden at Abu Dhabi, putting a 4.5-length gap on them and doing it with authority. Even with extra weight, that profile stacks up strongly, and she's a leading winning hope. AASIR (8) drops sharply in grade after a tough outing at Jebel Ali, and his placing here two runs back is a far better guide to his ability. If he runs to that figure, he's right in the finish.
