Aintree Race 1 - Bet 10 To Get 40 Betmgm Novices' Hurdle (Gbb Race)
WATERY BORREN (1) remains unbeaten in his career after two starts including when hurdling at Carlisle two weeks ago. Stable have started this season in great form and he holds very strong claims against a small field. RISKY OBSESSION (4) now adopts a first time hood and tongue strap combination for this hurdle debut. Clearly held in high regard and must rate favourably. AQUA BLEU (2) didn't complete at Aintree in the G1 Anniversary Hurdle during the spring however holds ability and is worth giving another chance. AVIDE (3) goes hurdling after a smart time of things on the flat. Deserves a market check representing powerful yard.

He is resuming after a seven months break. Finished off last campaign didn't finish the race at this track in the G1 Anniversary 4yo Juvenile Hurdle April 9 over 3400m. First ever race start 2 in a small field at Hereford November 3 2025 over 3200m, 0.8 len behind Planters Punch carrying 70kg at $5.50. What happened last time is not ideal so happy enough to avoid.

Resumes racing after a long spell. Having raced just once last campaign finished sixth of 20 starters at this track in the G2 Champion Standard Open Nh Flat Race on April 11 over 3400m, 16 len behind Forthfactor with 71.5kg at $7. Won previous preparation first up by 6 len Warwick on December 31 over 3200m defeating Smile John Boy carrying 71kg at $2.80. Looks good enough to prevail against limited opposition.
