Aintree Race 7 - Disco Dave's 60th Birthday Bash Mares' Open Nh Flat Race (Gbb Race)
WISE MAIDEN (1) raced keenly and met interference before sweeping 9.5L clear of her rivals attempting course and distance in May. The 2kg winners penalty is justified by that display. DOUBLE ANNIE (5) already opened a 10L lead before the final fence at Rathcannon and eventually scored by 20L in an impressive display. Jack Power claims 2.5kg for her jumpers flat debut. LADY JETFIRE (2) travelled best into the last winning a Knockanohill point by 2.5L. Jamie Snowden has since taken charge and Gavin Sheehan rides. MORAL COMPASS (6) dictated her Necarne maiden from an early stage and held on by 3L. The shorter test is the unknown. Not discounted.
