Abu Dhabi Race 1 - Race 1 - Native Bloodline Sprint Handicap

NISREEN AL WATHBA (12) is in excellent dirt form, backing up a placing at Al Ain with a strong win over 1600m there five-and-a-half weeks ago. Jules Mobian, who has twice won on her, stays aboard and she looks set to feature again. AF ESTITAR (14) improved sharply last start, sitting handy and lifting late to score by a narrow margin over 1200m at Jebel Ali. This is tougher, but he's trending the right way and is capable of measuring up. MAESTRO (5) keeps knocking on the door with a string of minor placings, including a solid second over 1000m at Al Ain last time. He'll need to go to another level but is certainly in the mix. ETHBAT (16) hasn't raced since her 1600m win here in early November, but she's proven at the track and trip and should be competitive if she returns in similar order.
